Friends of White Rock Lake (FWRL), a non-profit 501(c)(3) based in Dallas, has become an official sponsor of National Prairie Day.

FWRL will promote National Prairie Day by promoting its mission to more than 50,000 contacts via Facebook and its website. They will also schedule a work day with more than 50 volunteers to restore a prairie at White Rock Lake Park.
